I’ve identified what I feel are future 3 or 4 cornerstones of what could potentially be a great offense. That’s a good thing because I’m still trying to figure out who those guys are on the other side of the ball. We might be required to out score several opponents.

The weather was beautiful in Lubbock, and as a fan, I enjoyed the new format of the scrimmage. I’m not sure you could get any closer to recreating a game day experience and it allowed for continuity with our starters. I hope we keep it that way in the future.

So, we’ve had a couple of scrimmages since our last report to shed some light on our previous concerns.

- Seth Doege is still the leader at QB and performed well in the first scrimmage. He was apparently a huge question mark this weekend and was out-played by Jacob Karam.
