Not saying it would happen in the next 2-3 years. The opportunity to take over a nationally competative program with a great recruiting base, personal things aside, is a big carrot. But if Mack is eligible for Social Security and still around, the grass will probably start looking pretty green.

I don’t think that is in Mack’s character.

Plus, Muschamp mentioned that his family loved Austin, which I think played a big part in this deal. Personally, I think Boom’s wife probably said, “I’m through with moving so much!” and might have forced the issue. He also has two kids. Constantly uprooting them is never a good thing, especially when the wife and kids are pretty much left on their own when plugging into a new community since the husband is inundated with football 6 months out of the year.
